AKM Kamrul Islam has passed away in Sydney after a long battle with cancer (Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un). He passed away early Saturday morning while undergoing treatment at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick, Sydney. He is survived by his wife Rowshan Ara Lipi and two children, Ayan and Anaya. Kamrul Islam's funeral prayer was held on August 15 at 12:30 PM at the Auburn Mosque Omar.
According to family sources, Kamrul Islam had been suffering from incurable cancer for a long time. He died early Saturday morning while undergoing treatment.
Kamrul Islam's death has cast a shadow of grief over the Bangladeshi community in Sydney. His relatives, friends, and well-wishers have expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family.
Deep condolences have been expressed to the deceased's wife Rowshan Ara Lipi, two children Ayan and Anaya, and other family members. Prayers have been offered to Almighty Allah for the forgiveness of his departed soul and to grant the bereaved family the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss. On behalf of the family, gratitude has also been expressed to those who stood by Kamrul Islam during his illness and difficult times and assisted the family.
