To mark the 48th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Australia BNP organized a public rally at Wiley Park in Sydney. Held on Sunday afternoon, the event was presided over by Australia BNP President A. F. M. Tawhidul Islam and conducted by General Secretary Mohammad Haider Ali.
Dr. A. Z. M. Zahid Hossain, member of the BNP National Standing Committee, attended the event as the chief guest. Special guests who delivered speeches included Mohammad Rashedul Haq, Central International Affairs Secretary of the BNP; Mohammad Ferdous Omi, Central International Affairs Secretary of Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal; and Professor Dr. Shah J. Mia, Advisor to Australia BNP.
Additionally, speeches were delivered by special speakers including organizational Vice Presidents Ashraful Islam and Selim Liakat; Swechchhasebak Dal Australia Convener Moshiur Rahman Tuhin; Mubarak Hossain; Shah Alam; Senior Joint Secretary Elias Kanchon Shaheen; Joint Secretary Moshiur Rahman Munna; Organizing Secretary Shafiul Alam Shafique; and Co-organizing Secretary Rizvi Ahmed. Local leaders and activists of the party were also present at the gathering.
