A reception program has been held to honor the talented students of Rajar Bazar Government High School, the traditional and only government high school in Chunarughat upazila.
On Tuesday, September 15, at 11:00 AM, this grand event was organized in the school auditorium premises to honor students who achieved GPA-5 in the SSC and JSC examinations and attained success in co-curricular activities.
Presided over by the school's Headmaster Md. Rafiqul Islam, Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Taufiq Anwar attended the event as the chief guest. Upazila Secondary Education Officer Kawsar Shokrana and journalist Abdur Razzak Raju spoke as special guests. Teachers, guardians, and a large number of students of the school were present at the program.
In his speech as the chief guest, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Taufiq Anwar said, 'Today's talented students are the main architects of building a smart Bangladesh of the future. It is not enough to just get good results; alongside, one must develop as a good citizen by being inspired by human values and patriotism.' At this time, he placed special emphasis on the improvement of education quality and the necessity of modern education. He called upon the students to engage in regular studies as well as book reading and creative work.
The auspicious beginning of the program took place through the recitation of holy scriptures. Afterward, the talented students were welcomed with flowers, and the guests handed over honorary mementos and crests to them.
In his presidential speech, Headmaster Md. Rafiqul Islam expressed gratitude to the invited guests and said, 'This success of our school is the result of the joint efforts of teachers, guardians, and students. We are committed to maintaining this continuous success of education in the future as well.'
In the final segment of the program, a charming cultural event was performed with the participation of the school's students.
