On Sunday, September 20, 2026, the Cabramatta Moon Festival, one of Southeast Asia's largest and most popular cultural festivals, is returning to the Cabramatta Town Center in Sydney. As in previous years, an estimated 80,000 people are expected to gather. Running from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, this bustling festival will take place across the entire area.
Main Attractions of the Festival: The main attractions of the festival include traditional delicious food stalls and a variety of market stalls, free activities for children, amusement rides, and all-day live entertainment. Other highlights feature extremely delightful and fun pho-eating and mooncake-eating contests, a magnificent lantern parade led by the Moon Goddess and Archer, a special barbecue zone filled with the aroma of grilled food, and various other forms of entertainment.
You can join Cabramatta to experience the true ambiance of the Mid-Autumn Festival without the hassle of hanging lanterns from ceiling fans at home. To avoid crowds and ensure a comfortable commute, visitors are advised to use trains or public transport.
