Osmani Udyan Modernized

The historical 23-acre Osmani Udyan, located at the junction of Old and New Dhaka, has been modernized. Under the project, the park has been developed into a green, safe, and modern civic recreation center.

As part of the modernization, along with the renovation of the old water body, five new water bodies have been constructed. While preserving the existing vegetation, new trees have been planted and green islands created.

The park features approximately 3.1 kilometers of walkways, a gymnasium, pagodas, public toilets, parking facilities, and lake ghats.

In addition, rainwater harvesting facilities with a capacity of 50,000 liters have been installed. Arranged in two tiers, the park has a rapid transit pathway situated two meters above the road level. Source: BSS.
