Great news for book lovers, collectors, and bargain hunters. The highly anticipated 'Castle Hill Book Fair 2026' is returning to Oakhill College in Castle Hill from Friday, October 9 to Sunday, October 11. Organized by the volunteers of 'Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney', this three-day fair will be held in the Benildus Hall of Oakhill College. The book fair will run every day from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This year's fair will feature over 70,000 quality used books for sale across more than 50 categories. In addition to fiction, there will be a vast collection of books on various subjects including history, politics, science, travel, cooking, gardening, children's and young adult literature, military, music, and textbooks. Along with books, visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase CDs, DVDs, vinyl records, and jigsaw puzzles.

A special attraction of the Castle Hill Book Fair will be a collection of 40 rare books. These include the 1895 historical book 'The Principles and Practice of Medicine' (Second Edition) by William Osler; the travel and adventure book 'Wanderings in Every Climb' illustrated with 200 engravings by Gustave Doré and other artists; the historical 'N.S.W. ANZAC Memorial' published on April 25, 1916; Elvis Presley's rare 1967 radio promotional 'RCA Victor' LP record; and the special 1990 'Audubon's Birds of America' edition containing 45 colorful plates.

The funds raised at the fair will be utilized for the crisis support and suicide prevention services of 'Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney'. Consequently, every purchase made at the fair will directly contribute to saving lives in the local community.
