State Minister for Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment and Gono Odhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur has raised the question of whether Jamaat-e-Islami will be able to do politics if the BNP turns away from the party, noting that the Awami League had left Jamaat banned. He made these remarks in a status posted on his personal Facebook account on Tuesday (August 18).
Nurul Haque Nur wrote, "Awami League has already banned Jamaat. If BNP turns away from Jamaat, will Jamaat be able to do politics?" He further wrote, "Can the foolish activists of Jamaat realize this matter?"
