Moving beyond the borders of the country, Samanzar Said, the winner of Miss World Bangladesh 2026, is set to represent Bangladesh on the international beauty pageant stage. To participate in the Miss World 2026 competition, she will depart from Dhaka for Vietnam on Saturday, August 8.
The official events of the competition will begin on Sunday, August 9, in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. After several weeks of various rounds, the grand finale will take place in Ho Chi Minh City on September 5. There, Samanzar will compete against contestants from various countries around the world.
She views this international journey as a major opportunity in her life. Samanzar said that since childhood she used to watch beauty pageants on television. At that time, she never thought that one day she herself would get the opportunity to represent the country in such an international event. With confidence, she wants to present her best and be a source of pride for the country.
Raised in Dhaka, Samanzar has completed her graduation from the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology at North South University. After finishing her studies, driven by an interest to gain new experiences, she participated in the Miss World Bangladesh 2026 competition. Participating for the very first time, she caught the judges' attention and won the winner's crown.
As part of her preparation for the international competition, Samanzar has undergone training over the past few months in personality development, public speaking, and communication skills. According to her, Miss World is not just a competition of physical beauty; a woman's confidence, intelligence, human values, and social responsibility are also important here. Samanzar also has a long-standing relationship with art and culture. She has received four years of training in Kathak and Bharatanatyam dance. In her spare time, she likes listening to music, dancing, playing sports, and watching movies. In the future, if she gets the opportunity to work in good stories and exceptional characters, she wants to work in acting as well. With this opportunity to represent the country ahead of her, Samanzar Said is now eagerly waiting to hold high the flag of Bangladesh on the global stage.
