Two Bangladesh Army soldiers were killed in an accidental accident caused by tank shelling during a firing exercise at the Hathazari Field Firing Range in Chattogram. An army officer was seriously injured in the incident. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the accident occurred on Wednesday during field firing exercises in Hathazari.
According to the ISPR press release, the sudden accident took place during tank shelling at the Hathazari Field Firing Range firing practice. This resulted in two Bangladesh Army soldiers being killed and one officer seriously injured.
The ISPR press release stated that the injured army officer is being flown to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka by helicopter.
The ISPR has stated that necessary activities are currently underway to investigate how this accident occurred during the army's field firing exercise in Hathazari.
