According to ACC sources, more than two thousand written corruption complaints have been submitted against the advisors of Dr. Yunus-led government and their close associates. The Anti-Corruption Commission has begun formal investigations after verifying the primary truth of these allegations.

The tangle of widespread corruption allegations against Dr. Muhammad Yunus's interim government has started to unravel. Mountainous piles of corruption complaints have been submitted to the Anti-Corruption Commission against various advisors, starting from the highest levels of government. Sensational information regarding the laundering of thousands of crores of taka abroad and the abuse of power has emerged against several influential advisors, including Dr. Yunus.

According to ACC sources, more than two thousand written corruption complaints have been submitted against the advisors of Dr. Yunus-led government and their close associates. The Anti-Corruption Commission has begun formal investigations after verifying the primary truth of these allegations.

The ACC has initiated an investigation into corruption amounting to 11,0arked crore taka against Dr. Yunus's close student advisor Asif Mahmud. Allegations state that corruption money was used to purchase land in Portugal, invest in Dubai's 'Green Group', and deposit money in Swiss banks. Among these, the complaints mention that 4,500 crore taka has been laundered to Dubai, 3,000 crore to Singapore, 2,000 crore to Australia, and 1,500 crore taka to Switzerland. In addition, there is information regarding the laundering of massive amounts of money through his two brothers-in-law and a nephew.

Furthermore, there are allegations that while serving as Chief Advisor, Dr. Yunus laundered more than 5,000 crore taka to at least four countries. These countries include the United States, France, Switzerland, and Norway. A written document has been found regarding the deposit of 374 crore in Bangladeshi currency into his personal account in Norway. It is alleged that this money was deposited into his account from the multinational company Telenor of Grameenphone, and during Yunus's tenure, Telenor received several additional benefits.

Complaints of laundering 10,000 crore taka have been submitted against another advisor, Asif Nazrul. Alongside allegations of misappropriating thousands of crores of taka through the appointment and transfer of judges, legal officers, and sub-registrars, he is also accused of embezzling money through 'bail trade' and 'transfer trade'. Information regarding a Swiss bank account and the acquisition of anonymous properties in New York and Florida, United States, has also been submitted to the ACC.

Influential advisor Syeda Rizwana Hasan faces corruption allegations amounting to 8,000 crore taka. The complaints state that Rizwana's husband Abu Bakr Siddique sold massive properties of former minister Nasrul Hamid Bipu and laundered the money to Dubai, operating businesses in Dubai and London with those illegal assets.

Despite having no qualifications in health matters, Nurjahan Begum was given the responsibility of health advisor due to her job at Dr. Yunus's institution. It is alleged that during her tenure, thousands of children died due to a lack of imported measles vaccines. Additionally, while serving as advisor, she purchased a luxury house in New Jersey, United States, in the name of a close relative.

Anger has sparked among the general public as Dr. Yunus moved away from his promise of establishing good governance right after sitting in the chair of power, plunging the country into grave danger. A few days ago, the High Court delivered a verdict canceling the tax exemption facility of Dr. Yunus's institution Grameen Kalyan and ordering the payment of taxes, where it directed the deposit of 666 crore taka in overdue taxes to the state treasury. Ever since then, various secret wrongdoings and corruption issues of Dr. Yunus's government have begun to come to light publicly.

Responsible officials of the Anti-Corruption Commission have stated that complaints have been filed with the ACC against almost all advisors, with the exception of one or two. Legal inquiries and investigations are being conducted in phases for complaints where primary truth has been found.

On the other hand, while in the past, lawsuits or complaints against Dr. Yunus's corruption would be dismissed in court on various pretexts, in the current situation, the general public and conscious circles have expressed relief at this step by the ACC. At this critical juncture of the country, strict anti-corruption measures are the only way to restore the people's lost rights and good governance.
